Version 1.7 was released 19th October 2010. Once you get your three lightsaber parts, anything that would have previously given you a part gives you a completed lightsaber (randomly short, normal, or double-bladed). The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod intents to restore much of the cut content to The Sith Lords, that was lost to the main game due to a rush to release the game. You're going to need to pick a side of the force and stick to it during the first chunk of the game if you want to get your lightsaber.
